摘要
The Cramer-Rao inequality (CRI) is a general uncertainty relation expressing reciprocity between the mean-square error in an estimate and the Fisher information I present in the data. The CRI is shown to derive strong uncertainty principles in quantum mechanics and optics. It also derives the Maxwell-Boltzmann law of gas theory as a distribution achieving the minimum CR product.
