摘要
Recently we reported on the possibility of obtaining ion-selective membranes on an ISFET, by depositing a membrane coupled to the top of the gate insulator. The addition of a specific neutral carrier (ionophore) in the membrane composition provides the required specificity. Literature data for selective ionophores suitable for transition or group B metal ions do not allow univocal information about transport and selectivity, in particular when the compounds are embedded in solid membranes. The use of nine different ionophores for lead ions in ISEs and ISFETs allowed us to assess data on sensitivity and selectivity among liquid- and solid-membrane complexation.
