High resolution FTIR spectra of monoisotopic (GeHD3)-Ge-70 have been recorded in the region of the nu1, nu2/nu4 and nu5 bands with a resolution between 0.0021 and 0.004 cm-1. The J-dependent ground state constants up to sextic terms have been determined from ground state combination differences formed from transitions observed in the nu1 band. The K-dependent parameters C0 and D(K)0 were obtained from 89 perturbation-allowed transitions observed in the nu2/nu4 band. These are related to three different KI(K+ 3) ground state levels. The nu5 band, nu0 = 792.517 cm-1, is separated from other vibrational levels. Fits of rovibrational transitions, J(max)' = 29, converged with sigma = 1.24 x 10(-3) cm-1, while sigma = 0.30 x 10(-3) cm-1 was achieved when J' was truncated to less-than-or-equal-to 18. The analysis of the nu2/nu4 band, nu2(0) 1513.527 and nu4(0) = 1524.122 cm-1, revealed that high-K (R)(P, Q, R)(K) transitions are affected by as yet unknown perturbers. These were eliminated from the data fit. which gave sigma = 1.28 x 10(-3) cm-1. The presence of an alpha resonance between nu2 and nu4, alpha2,4BB =7.551(7) x 10(-3) cm-1, was established while no effects of the expected Coriolis x, y resonance were evident.
