THE ROLE OF THE PION IN NUCLEON STRUCTURE

摘要
We first discuss the role of the pion in nucleon structure. It is shown to be crucial to such important quantities as charge form factors and masses. We argue that present lattice QCD calculations ought to be compared with pion corrected data. The role of the pion in generating an SU(3) breaking sea, in modifying the valence structure and the spin structure of the nuclcon is also discussed. Finally we discuss some important observations on the recently measured nuclear structure functions. © 1990.
