摘要
Inorganic membranes, which are chemically, thermally, and mechanically resistant and which can be thermally regenerated, offer a number of potential advantages over organic polymer membranes. Here, microporous silica, aluminia, titania, and zirconia (see Figure) membranes on commercially available supports are reported which exhibit remarkable separation behavior, far beyond the cutoff range of common ultrafiltration.
