摘要：

The pycnogonid material collected off the north-west African coast by the Institute of Oceanographic Sciences between 1971 and 1983 has been analysed. Stations providing pycnogonids were located on the continental shelf, slope and rise between 14-degrees-N and 32-degrees-N, at depths in the range 101 to 4416 m. The 755 specimens represented 29 species, two of which are new to science.
