摘要
Compounds with a potentially pentacoordinated silicon central atom have been synthesized using a new tridentate ligand. Detailed NMR studies have shown, however, that, in contrast to an earlier report(1), each of these species exists in solution as an equilibrium mixture of two equivalent structures in which the central atom is tetracoordinated.
