摘要
The steady state current mehod for characterizing solid electrolytes developed by Bruce and Vincent, J. electroanal. Chem. 225, 1 (1987) and Bruce et at, J. electroanal. Chem. 271, 27 (1989), has been extended to electrolytes of the type MX(2) which give rise to MX(+) and X(-) as charge carriers. Where MX(2) is present only as MX(+) and X(-), ie no uncharged MX(2) species are present, under ideal conditions, it is shown that [GRAPHICS] where ''+'' denotes MX(+) and ''-'' denotes X(-), whereas in the case where MX(2) is also present, it is shown that [GRAPHICS] where K is the association constant of MX(2) from MX(+) and X(-) and c(+,0) is the initial concentration of MX(+).
