摘要
A surface hydroxyl (OD) group on oxidized Ni was produced by dosing a mixture of O-2 and D-2 over Ni(110) at 463 K. The OD stretching band was observed at 2713 cm(-1) by infrared reflection absorption spectroscopy (IRAS). The isotope exchange reactions of the OD species with H-2 and OH with D-2 were examined by IRAS, revealing that the kinetic isotope effect between H-2 and D-2 was about 1.3.
