摘要
A silver doping method by an indirect displacement reaction to produce a surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) effect on a Ni/adsorption layer has been explored. Whether the adsorbed layer is a reaction product with Ni or an inert layer like a polymeric coating, this new sample preparation technique is straightforward for elucidating the orientation or adsorption configuration of the species at the surface, as well as recognizing whether the metal substrate is oxidized or not. The results were obtained by Fourier-transform (FT) Raman spectroscopy and compared with those form FT-SERS studies of adsorption on a HNO3 roughened Ag substrate.
