[Au2(C25H22P2)(C6F5)2], M(r) = 1112.4, monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 14.141 (4), b = 20.209 (5), c = 14.207 (4) angstrom, beta = 95.85 (3)-degrees, V = 4039 (2) angstrom3, Z = 4, D(x) = 1.829 Mg m-3, lambda(Mo K-alpha) = 0.71069 angstrom, mu = 7.4 mm-1, F(000) = 2088, T = 178 K, R = 0.046 for 5181 reflections. The molecule crystallizes in a cis [GRAPHICS] configuration with a short intramolecular Au...Au contact of 3.163 (1) angstrom. The linear coordination at Au is scarcely distorted: P-Au-C 176.6, 175.8 (4)-degrees. The ipso angles of the C6F5 rings are narrow: 114.8, 113.6 (11)-degrees.
