SPONTANEOUS MAGNETOSTRICTION IN R-T INTERMETALLICS (T=CO AND FE)

摘要
Thermal expansion and its anomalies at the magnetic phase transitions have been studied by X-ray dilatometry at 5-1300 K for a large group of rare-earth (and some actinide) intermetallics with high content of Co and Fe. The results are used to determine the isotropic and anisotropic parts of the spontaneous magnetostriction and to separate the contributions from the R and T sublattices to each past.
