摘要
: The palladium-catalyzed reaction of 1,2-di-carbora-doso-dodecaboranes (o-carboranes) (1) with allyl ethyl carbonate (3) gave 2-allylated o-carboranes (2) in good to excellent yields. Compounds 2 could be converted to the corresponding diols (4), which were soluble in water and thus could be utilized as carriers for 10B neutron capture therapy. © 1990, American Chemical Society.
