摘要
The concept, realization and performance of an optimized beam line and experimental station for photoemission experiments in the spectral range 5 ev less than equivalent to hv less than equivalent to 50 ev are described. The system consists of three focusing mirrors, a 1 m Seya-Namioka monochromator with two interchangeable gratings, a modified VG ADES 400 photoelectron spectrometer with two angular rotations and a sample preparation and transfer stage. First results with the new system for organometallic films on single crystal substrates are presented in order to illustrate the performance of the system.
