摘要
Less than 1 MHz spectral linewidth and lower than 15 kHz dip frequency, as well as 10 GHz bandwidth (6 dB down level from the peak) in the frequency modulation (FM) response, were simultaneously obtained for 1200-mu-m long 1.5-mu-m band multiple-quantum-well DFB-dc-PBH-LD's, at 30 mW device output power, closely corresponding to the optical fiber input power limit of about 20 mW, due to stimulated Brillouin scattering.
