摘要
In recent years, many components involved in promoter-specific transcriptional activation in eukaryotes have been identified and characterized. We argue that a proper understanding of transcriptional activation will require quantitative modeling and we outline some of the considerations that such modeling will need to take into account. © 1994 Elsevier Science Ltd.
