摘要
Vibronic instabilities in conducting polymers and quasi-one-dimensional metals are studied. For all the line groups that contain glide planes, the symmetrized Kronecker squares of irreducible representations are decomposed into irreducible constituents. The derivation of the selection rules for linear-vibronic-coupling matrix elements is thus completed for all the line groups.
