EXCITATION PROFILES OF RAMAN-SCATTERING AND ELECTRON-PHONON COUPLING IN SEMICONDUCTOR NANOCRYSTALS

摘要
The Raman scattering spectra of the semiconductor nanocrystals embedded in glass matrices are studied at the resonance excitation conditions. It is shown that the quantum-sized transitions with the angular momenta 1=0, 2 only contribute to the resonance Raman enhancement. The excitation Raman profile reveals the peaks not only within the first absorption band 1=0, n=1, but also in the region of the transitions with 1=2, n=1 and 1=0, n=2 in accordance with the theoretical analysis. The size dependence of electron-phonon coupling for the LO phonons and the elastic vibrations and its influence on the resonance Raman enhancement are discussed.
