摘要
The cell-to-dendrite transition has been systematized in terms of velocity (upsilon), temperature gradient (G) and alloy concentration (X0) for the organic alloys succinonitrile-salol (S-Sa), succinonitrile-acetone (S-A) and pivalic acid-ethanol (P-E) for wide ranges of the control parameters. A distinction is made between two-dimensional and three-dimensional dendrites, the latter experimentally dominating at high values of upsilon within our fixed 55 mum film. We develop experimental and theoretical formulas for the critical transition conditions which are particularly successful for S-Sa and S-A.
