摘要
We have observed a 60 arcsecond square region in B335 centered on its far-IR source in the emission of HCO+(3-2), HCO+(4-3), and (H13CO)-C-13+(3-2). The HCO+(3-2) emission is confined to this region and is centered on the IR source. At the IR position there is a region about 14" or less in diameter with strong emission of HCO+(4-3). Ratios of the lines indicate a gas density greater than 10(6) cm-3 at one position on the IR source. Also at the same position, the antenna temperatures and ratios of the lines indicate a gas kinetic temperature significantly higher than 10 K. The dense gas traced by the lines cannot be responsible for the collimation of the CO outflow. The HCO+(3-2) lines have redshifted high-velocity components, which have velocity extents similar to that of the CO wing components. The density of the HCO+(3-2) high-velocity gas is at least 10(4) cm-3, comparable to that of the quiescent dense gas in B335.
