SOUND-VELOCITY IN THE LIQUID GE-SE SYSTEM

摘要
Sound velocity Vs in the liquid GeSe system has been measured as a function of composition and temperature. The adiabatic compressibility κS deduced from Vs and the density data has a point of inflexion both at 50 and 67% Se at low temperatures when plotted as a function of composition. With increasing temperature, the latter rapidly fades away. The results are interpreted as being due to the existence of the ionic association, GeSe2 and its structural change in the liquid. © 1990.
