THE PREPARATION OF V2O5 BY OZONE OXIDATION OF VOSO4 SOLUTION FOR CATHODE ACTIVE MATERIAL OF LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY

摘要
By oxidizing an aqueous solution of VOSO4 by using ozone, yellowish black, powder-like deposit was obtained, the composition of which coincident with V2O5. This deposit had the intermediate structure between crystalline and amorphous V2O5 and gave a high capacity of 175 Ah/kg as a cathode active material in a Li secondary battery.
