摘要
Exfoliated graphite was prepared at room temperature through the reaction of MoCl5-graphite intercalation compounds with hydrazine monohydrate. The reaction products were supposed to be NH4Cl and molybdenum oxides or hydroxides in amorphous state, the former being crystallized at 200 degrees C and the latter to be MoO2 and MoO3 above 500 degrees C. The parallel stacking of graphite layers was so severely disturbed by the exfoliation at room temperature that no 002 line of graphite was detected. Annealing of structure occurred above 500 degrees C, but a large amount of stacking disorder remained in the exfoliated graphite even after annealing up to 800 degrees C.
