We report measurements of the in-plane (rho(ab)) and out-of-plane resistivity (rho(c)) for YBa2Cu3O7-delta high temperature superconducting single crystals under hydrostatic pressure up to 20 kbar.rho(ab) has an initial derivative d ln rho(ab)/dP of -1.0%/kbar, while for rho(c), d ln rho(c)/dP is - 1.5%/kbar at room temperature. The superconducting transition temperature in both configurations increases by 0.055 K/kbar in the pressure range explored.
