摘要
The perovskite-type alloy system Y1-xCaxTiO3 has the magnetic transition near x = 0.l and the metal to insulator (M-I) transition near x = 0.3. This system is found to be classified into the following three categories by the measurements Of magnetic and electrical properties. (i) In the Y-rich region (0 < x < 0.1), this alloy system shows ferromagnetic and semiconducting behaviour. (ii) In the middle region (0. 1 < x < 0.3), the temperature dependence of magnetic susceptibility shows Curie-Weiss type paramagnetic behaviour but transport property shows semiconducting behaviour. (iii) In the Ca-rich region (0.3 < x< 1), the alloy shows metallic transport and Pauli-paramagnetic behaviours.
