The methods recently developed by our group for the determination of activity coefficients by g.l.c. for systems involving moderately volatile solvents (by relating the loss of solvent to its partial pressure) is used in this work to determine the activity coefficients for pentane, cyclopentane, hexane, cyclohexane, benzene, and heptane in cis- and trans -decahydronapthalene (decalin) at the temperature 298.15 K. © 1994 Academic Press Ltd.
