摘要
We study the kinetics of first-order phase transitions in exciton systems in both two and three dimensions, where the volume fraction of the condensing droplets is small but finite. The solution of our mean-field equations gives explicit self-consistent expressions for the droplet distribution function, the nucleation rate, and the time evolution of both the average droplet size and the total number of droplets. The results axe compared with those of the classical Ostwald ripening problem.
