PROPERTIES OF SOLID-STATE ELECTROCHROMIC CELLS USING TA2O5 AS ELECTROLYTE

摘要
Solid-state electrochromic (EC) cells (ITO/WO3/Ta2O5/ITO), where ITO is indium-tinoxide, were fabricated. Individual films were prepared by rf sputtering. The conduction mechanism in the Ta2O5 electrolyte was considered from the measurement of ac conductivity. Absorption spectra, coloration efficiency and memory characteristics of the EC cells were investigated. These results are compared with those of EC cells with liquid electrolytes.
