TIME-RESOLVED ELECTRONIC RAMAN MEASUREMENTS IN GERMANIUM BY 100 FS TI-AL2O3 LASER

摘要
Time-resolved electronic Raman scattering measurements were made by 110 fs laser pulses in germanium. The Raman scattering signal from photo-excited electrons in L-valleys was found to increase with a time constant of 1.2 +/- 0.1 ps. The result indicates that the photo-excited electrons initially created in the GAMMA-valley should scatter into L-valleys with 1.2 +/- 0.1 ps.
