摘要:
Yttria stabilized tetragonal Zirconia polycrystal, Y-TZP, was subjected to high temperature tensile tests in a vacuum (10** minus **3 Pa). Superplasticity in fine-grained Y-TZP, as first reported by F. Wakai et al. has been demonstrated to be reproducible. In addition, a high elongation value of 350 percent has been obtained at 1550 degree C. The microstructure of the Y-TZP appears to be stable at 1450 degree C but grain growth takes place in specimens tested at 1550 degree C. 12 Refs.
