摘要
1. 1. Determinations of pulmonary and cutaneous gas exchange (V̇O2 and V̇O2) were made on frogs acclimatized to temperatures of 5°, 15° and 25°C at 8-hr and 16-hr photoperiods. 2. 2. Lungs supplied 48 per cent of the total oxygen consumed at 5°C and 66 per cent at 25°C. Approximately 75 per cent of the CO2 was released through the skin at 5° and 15°C, and 56 per cent at 25°C. 3. 3. Oxygen uptake was recorded over periods of 24-48 consecutive hours. Under some of the acclimation conditions a daily rhythym in metabolism was observed. © 1968.
