摘要：

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the existing literature on multicriteria decision-aid, to bring out the successes and the difficulties of this field and to propose some ways of research. This analysis is essentially devoted to the research in Europe, even if some comments are concerned with the American literature. This paper is not a survey of all that has been done in multicriteria decision-aid, but the author has tried to approach its main aspects.
