STRUCTURE OF THE SILVER RICH PHASE OF AGBR-CUBR MIXED-CRYSTALS

摘要
A proposed model for AgxCu1-xBr in the delta-phase consisting of a rocksalt structure with Br- ions at regular anion sites, Ag+ ions and cation vacancies at cation lattice sites, and random occupation of all Cu+ ions at interstitial positions is able to account for: (1) the anomalous expansion of the mixed crystals; (2) the diffracted X-ray intensities of dominant reflections; and (3) essential features of the ionic conductivity.
