COKING AND REGENERATION OF ZEOLITE CATALYSTS IN FIXED-BEDS DURING CUMENE CRACKING

摘要
Coke deposition on and subsequent regeneration of a zeolite catalyst used for the cracking of cumene have been investigated employing the non-invasive neutron attenuation technique to determine the residual coke distribution along the catalyst bed. The transient temperature profiles obtained on regeneration were in accordance with the coke content and distribution in the reactor. The CO/CO2 ratio during the regeneration was found to increase with decreasing regeneration temperatures. © 1990.
