摘要：

We describe a case of fatal infective endocarditis due to Clostridium septicum in a patient with underlying colonic carcinoma. This is believed to be the first reported case of C. septicum endocarditis. The literature on the subject is reviewed. © 1993 The British Society for the Study of Infection.
