摘要
The Probability distribution of n electrons being registered by an electron counter during a time t is calculated by using a model similar to the Srinivas and Davies model of photon counting processes. The result shows that whenever electron propagation is described by a free Hamiltonian, the statistics of the electron numbers recorded by the counter follows the sub-Poissonian distribution. This distribution is independent of the initial state of the electrons. The second-order coherence in the results of the two-counter measurement reflects the antibunching correlation of the electrons.
