Three types of Ag sheathed (Bl, Pb)2SrCa2Cu3Ox tapes were developed: single core tape, multifilamentary one and Ag alloy sheathed one. Single core tape showed high Jc of 66,000A/cm2 at 77K, OT. This was achieved by the increasing of density of the oxide core. High density of the oxide core resulted in highly oriented, less second phase contained microstructure. 6 to 8,100 multifilamentary wires were successfully fabricated and showed better bending strain tolerance. AgMg alloy sheath instead or pure silver sheath increased 0.2% proof stress to 210MPa with Jc or 10,000A/cm2 at 77K, OT.
