摘要
The influence of supramolecular diacetylenic template structures on spacial location and morphology of CaCO3 crystals grown under the template has been demonstrated. The periodic modulations in supramolecular template textures (global geometry; millimeter scale) influence crystal location, whereas the local density of the template (local geometry; nanometer scale) influences the polymorph selectivity. For various anionic functional groups under specific experimental conditions, it was found that the binding of Ca ions to the organic template results in an increase of similar to 4.5-5 Angstrom(2)/molecule to the molecular area based on pressure-area isotherms.
