摘要
A method for preparation of new ceramic materials based on Ti3SiC2 by using different HIP-SHS techniques is reported. The best results in the form of dense polycrystals have been obtained by hot isostatic pressing of Ti3SiC2-rich powders prepared by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS). Materials with controlled content of soft hexagonal Ti3SiC2 phase and more hard cubic TiC-type phase have been prepared.
