摘要
The infrared and Raman vibrational spectra of the di-t-butylsilanes (t)Bu(2)SiX(2) (X = H, D, F, CI, Br, I) were recorded. Using a local symmetry force field for the t-butyl groups, normal coordinate analyses have been performed. To study the behaviour of t-butyl groups when the symmetry is lower than C-3 nu, the spectra of (t)BuSiI(2)H and (t)BuSiBr(2)H were included in the calculations.
