Dr. Samuel Broder, Director of the National Cancer Institute, and his colleague, Dr. Judith E. Karp, present an overview of the research strategies currently being employed to meet the challenge of the increasing numbers of cancers now recognized as being related to infection with the human immunodeficiency virus.
