摘要
The temporal and spatial transport of an electron-hole plasma in a thin semiconductor slab is investigated using coupled heated displaced Maxwellians. The carriers are generated by means of laser pulses in a region close to one surface and uniform in the lateral directions. External time scales defined by the laser pulse width and repetition rate are used to probe the influence of the different internal time scales on thermal nonequilibrium between electrons and holes; this allows one to test the transport description within a one-component approximation.
