摘要
An ethanol extract obtained from freeze-dried young green barley leaves was fractionated with column chromatography. The fraction exhibiting strongest antioxidative activity was further purified by HPLC. The active component was identified as 2"(3")-O-glycosylisovitexin by gas chromatography, UV, FAB-MS, H-1 NMR, and C-13 NMR. Its antioxidative activity was almost equivalent to that of alpha-tocopherol in a lipid peroxidation system at the level of 100-mu-g/1.5 mg of ethyl linoleate.
