摘要
Synthesis and thermal evolution of Cp2Ti(CO2)(PMe3) have been revisited. The FTIR spectra in the solid state and in solution in various solvents of the complex and of its isotopic labeled derivatives (CO2)-C-13, (CO2)-O-18) have been investigated. Normal coordination analysis was performed with different structural hypotheses and led to the conclusion that FTIR spectra indicate that CO2 is C-coordinated to the titanium in this complex. Complete assignments of FTIR spectra and the valence force field are then proposed. The results of this paper are combined with those of part 1 (preceding paper) to propose an overall scheme for the infrared spectroscopic characterization of CO2 complexes.
