摘要
Melt spinning of high silicon alloys can produce wide tapes with reasonable ductility that are regarded as one of the promising materials for magnetic applications. The communication reports the results and conclusions of TEM study of melt-spun silicon-rich iron alloys aimed at an unambiguous structural characterization. Four alloys containing 4. 5, 5. 5, 6. 5 and 7. 5 wt% Si were investigated. The specimens were prepared by the window technique using a solution of 85% acetic acid and 15% perchloric acid.
