摘要
The central ring system in 1 consists exclusively of three-coordinate heavy main group elements. In contrast to its B-P analogue the Ga3P3 ring is not planar, i.e. pi-pi overlap with formation of a cyclic delocalized electron system is not favored. Nevertheless, it contains the hitherto shortest Ga-P bond (mean length 2.3 angstrom).
