摘要
The concentration of gentamicin that inhibits the growth of half of an inoculum of Pseudomonas aeruginosa (IC50) was estimated by doing viable bacterial counts with varying concentrations of gentamicin and fitting a probit inhibition curve to the results. This is a more precisely defined measure than the MIC and its standard error is readily calculable. © 1992 by The British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy.
