H-FIELD AND J-CURRENT SINGULARITIES AT SHARP EDGES IN PRINTED-CIRCUITS

摘要
The magnetic field and related current density behavior are investigated on the surface of printed conductors with polygonal contour used in MIC circuit components and antennas. From the rigorous E solution for the plane sector perfect conductor, we determine the H singular solution. We formulate a convenient singularity function that just represents the boundary conditions and the singularity distributed along the conductor edge. The singularity function is explicitly reported for the commonly encountered 90-degrees and 270-degrees plane sectors and 90-degrees bitriangular antenna, whereas its systematic generalization is indicated for sectors of arbitrary aperture and composite configurations and polygonal path.
