摘要
Thiosulfate cancrinite was prepared by hydrothermal methods. The single crystal X-ray investigation yielded the space group P3 (n = 12.624(2) Angstrom, 5.170(1) A, R = 0.031, at 193 K). Axial twinning along [001] was observed. The thiosulfate anions show orientational disorder. On irradiation or heating, yellow to greenish-blue coloration occurs according to the formation of S-2(-) and SS radicals within the spacy channels of the cancrinite structure. These radicals are identified by UV/VIS and ESR spectroscopy, and a mechanism of formation is proposed. (C) 1995 Academic Press, Inc.
