摘要
The non-linear optical properties of Cd1-xZnxS:Cd1-yZnyS superlattices have been investigated under both resonant and non-resonant excitation. Below resonance, a second harmonic generation experiment has shown that the second order susceptibility is essentially that of the bulk material. The intensity of quantum confined excitonic emissions in photoluminescence is, however, highly dependent on the square of an applied electric field and this may be regarded as a resonantly enhanced optical non-linearity.
